Global Modeling of Coastal Extreme Water Levels: Balancing Accuracy and Efficiency
Abstract
Dr. William Pringle specializes in modeling storm tides and analyzing how coastal sea levels are affected by more frequent extreme weather events. He is a member of ADCIRC storm surge model development and will give a talk about global modeling of coastal extreme water levels.
ADCIRC is a system of computer programs for solving time-dependent, free surface circulation and transport problems in two and three dimensions.
